Nowpara Cold storage limited was acquired by Younus Group in 2011, which was initially incorporated in 1996 as a private limited company and project of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Ltd. After acquisition the owners conducted substantial renovation to ensure the quality of preserved potatoes.

The factory of the company is located at Lohajong of Munshiganj on total land area of 5.42 acres having total preservation capacity of 16000 MT.
